Bethany Downes

Bethany Downes is an Anglicare Health Chaplain at Liverpool Hospital. She grew up in Gerringong on the NSW South Coast and now lives in Paddington in Sydney’s East, attending St Matthias Anglican Church Centennial Park. She completed a Bachelor of Social Work at The University of Sydney and worked in the areas of domestic violence and child protection for 5 years before returning to full-time study at Moore Theological College where she completed her Bachelor of Theology. She enjoys visiting and exploring new places, especially when she gets to do this with friends and family.
