Murray Lean

Murray Lean worked for some years as a country doctor, but in the unexpected and sovereign ways of God, was led into pastoral ministry. He retired after many years at City North Baptist Church, Brisbane at the end of 2020, however continues to serve in active ministry roles as the Lord gives him opportunity. Murray lost his wife and faithful ministry partner Debbie to cancer in 2010. In 2025 he married Vicki and between them they have nine children and a growing tribe of grandchildren! Murray has a deep love for the local church, with a passion to see it built up through consistent Bible teaching and mobilised effectively for gospel ministry.
