Phillip Brown

Phillip Brown grew up in Armidale in Northern N.S.W in a loving Christian family. He is the middle child of three with an older brother Andrew and younger sister Adelle. Phillip completed primary, secondary and university in Armidale before moving down to Melbourne to pursue a PhD at Monash University Clayton and work part time at Glen Waverley Anglican Church. Before commencing his PhD Phillip sensed God’s calling to ministry rather than a career in Philosophy. He was offered sponsorship through a private benefactor and he immediately enrolled at Ridley Melbourne and joined the Ordination stream in 2004 to test this calling. Phillip graduated in 2008 with a Masters of Divinity and was Ordained as Deacon. In 2015 Phillip was appointed Vicar of Moree Anglican Church and returned back to the Armidale Diocese in N.S.W. Phillip is married to Lisa and they have three boys.
