I’m asking for your help!
I want to invite you to partner with us financially so that we can continue to commend and contend for the gospel together.
Our hope is to generate an additional $30 000 for The Gospel Coalition Australia. Will you help us achieve our goal?
One of our core passions is that we’re “better together”. We want to see the gospel of the Lord Jesus go wide (to more people) and go deep (into more hearts). We’re convinced that if the gospel is going to go wide and deep in Australia, we need to work together.
Now, obviously this doesn’t mean we should all spend all our time together, or all get on the same org chart, or spend every waking moment at conferences. But neither should we work in silos, or miss opportunities to go further faster through collaboration and sharing.
The website is one way we do this: we want the best resources from Albany available to Albury; the evangelistic initiatives in Brisbane sparking ideas in Bathurst; the best thinking on children’s ministry in Canberra informing the work in Ceduna.
Another aspect of this work is forming Gospel Networks. When groups such as the Perth Gospel Partnership, the TGCA Network of South Queensland, and the TGCA Chapter of Victoria get together good things happen. In the Great Southern Area of my own state (Western Australia) for example, a bunch of churches from Albany, Denmark, and Mt Barker are getting together to do what most of them couldn’t do alone: Planting churches, training gospel workers, reviving dying and struggling church communities. It’s thrilling! And it’s exactly the sort of thing TGCA is all about.
Can I ask you to contribute to that work? We’re aiming to raise $30 000, which would make a huge difference to our ability to commend and contend for the gospel and to foster connections for the sake of Jesus. A one-off gift? A regular monthly contribution?
