We live in an age of uncertainty.
The COVID-19 virus has closed our church doors. It’s driven us online. Many people are losing their jobs. Vulnerable members of our community are at risk of infection.
And we’re told this will continue for months.
And so, if you’re like most people, you’ve probably felt anxious. You’ve probably felt afraid.
You’re wondering what the future holds.
But in the midst of this uncertainty, The Gospel Coalition Australia is here to help you. We want to walk with you through this pandemic, helping you look to Christ Jesus, no matter what you’re facing.
Our online ministry is strongly placed to help you and your church during this time of lockdown. While many conferences and ministries have been canceled, we’re looking to grow our resources to help Christians like you across Australia. We want to help you and your church not just survive, but thrive and grow in your faith during COVID-19.

And so, here are some of the many initiatives we would like to do over the next little:
• We’re partnering with Christian artist Colin Buchanan to engage kids with the gospel.
• We’re partnering with Tony Payne – well know author and thinker – to produce resources helping churches pivot to online ministry.
• We’re setting up our site to collect the best Christian ideas from across Australia, to help you live for Jesus during this pandemic.
• In the midst of this doom and gloom, we want to collect and share the ‘good news’ stories of God doing his work in churches across Australia, even during this pandemic.
And as the situation changes, we’re coming up with new ideas to help Christians like you. For as we’re hearing, it could be months before life returns to normal.
Introducing the TGCA COVID-19 Resource Fund
But to make these initiatives a reality. We need prayer, and we need financial partnership. Unfortunately, we can’t do these things with our current level of finances.
Now I realise it’s a challenging time for many people financially. Many jobs are being lost. Churches are scrambling to make ends meet. And so, let me urge you to commit to giving to your church first and foremost. If you’re not yet giving regularly to your church, now is a good time to start.
But if you’re already giving to your church, and are able to give elsewhere, would you prayerfully think about partnering with us?
We’re looking to raise $35,000 for our COVID-19 Resource Fund, to resource Christians like you during this age of COVID-19.
With this money, we’ll be able to expand rapidly, and help provide more free resources to Christians like you across Australia.

You might be able to give a one-off gift of $50. Or partner with us regularly while the lockdown continues. Either way, it’s only with your partnership that we’ll be able to get these initiatives off the ground.
