The Council and Board of The Gospel Coalition Australia are delighted to announce the appointment of David McDonald as the National Director of TGCA.
David is married with four adult children and seven grandchildren. He is well known in evangelical circles and beyond, for his preaching, writing, and leadership in a variety of contexts.
David served as an early member of the TGCA Council until 2019 and so is thoroughly aligned with our vision and values.
He has extensive experience in Christian ministry across more than thirty-five years. David has been involved in student work with AFES, church planting in Canberra, and pastoral ministry in Bonny Hills, NSW. From 2017 to 2020 he was the inaugural National Director of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC).
David has demonstrable experience in strategic leadership; fundraising and financial leadership; operational and team leadership; and relational and network leadership.
We are confident that David has the right background, skills, and experience to take us forward in the next stage of TGCA’s development.
